Gent-speler vertrekt zonder één minuut te spelen, maar heeft toch emotionele boodschap klaar

Bij AA Gent was het vandaag opnieuw kassa, kassa aan beide kanten. Vadis Odjidja kwam immers over van het Griekse Olympiakos, maar er werd ook nog een uitgaande transfer gerealiseerd.

Peter Olayinka kwam in de winter van 2016 samen met Lucas Deaux, Gustav Wikheim en Simon Diedhiou aan bij AA Gent. Dat het niet de meest succesvolle transferwinter voor de Buffalo's was, is duidelijk.

Olayinka heeft achteraf gezien nog het beste parcours afgelegd. Hij speelde weliswaar nooit voor AA Gent, maar drukte in uitleenbeurten bij Dukla Praag en Zulte Waregem meer dan zijn stempel. Voor meer dan drie miljoen werd hij verkocht aan Slavia Praag en op Instagram nam hij afscheid van de Belgische fans.

One moment In Prague, another moment In Belgium next year who knows? “We don’t sign 10-year contracts,You can be wanted at one club and the next day you may not be. I want to say a big thank you to @esseveeofficial , the fans and the management for given the opportunity to prove myself it was a very big honor playing for club alongside with an incredible , good and amazing people. Thank you so much. I would like say thank you to @kaagent tho I couldn't do my best for the club , but I appreciate the fact that I was their player it's a great club with amazing people thank you so much for the privileged . Now it is time to face the new challenge ??????
